There are different natural colours of Bamboo Coral, Beige, Black Gold, Orange and Salmon Pink coral!
I choose to design this piece in the natural oxblood coral color tubes. I knotted it with a turquoise silk thread and closed it with a gold lobster clasp.
I used a brass plated feather as a focal point. This asymmetrical design is enhance with turquoise beads.
Coral is a product of the sea, as such, legends abound regarding its beginnings. Red Bamboo Coral also has healing and metaphysical properties it has been used in many cultures around the world for centuries as a protective talisman, healing creation and love amulet. I just love the power and heat of the red color!
