Harvest Moons were set in days past so farmers could continue being productive by moonlight even after the sun had set. This is a contemporary design yet very organic. Carved Harvest Moon symbols in tiger ebony wood placed in a round mother of pearl bead. I wanted to depict a very much up today topic of conversation, the environment by mixing natural materials as the mother of pearl which is a sea bead enclosing an earthy bead a tiger ebony wood.
