By accessing these web addresses, placing an order and/or making payment direct and / or purchasing a gift voucher direct with an individual designer, you agree to be bound by their terms and conditions.

The terms & conditions of this web site should not be in any way connected to the terms & conditions of any other web site that may be associated or connected to us.

Jewellery Ireland does not trade, deal or accept payment for transactions with / from individuals on/through these web sites. Jewellery Ireland acts only as a web facilitation and marketing platform for the designer jewellers and jewellery brands represented on this web site. By using the website www.jewelleryireland.ie indicates that you accept these terms & conditions regardless of whether or not you choose to register as a member with the site or order from any of the designers. If you do not accept these terms & conditions, do not use this website. You are specifically requested to take note of any of the individual designers’ specific terms and conditions which may appear on their page/s advertising their products.

The websites are jointly operated by Ian Frank of IKF Solutions, a web company based in Leicester, United Kingdom and Elmer Kerr of Connect 2, a sales & marketing company based in Sligo in the Republic of Ireland. Both organizations trade under a joint partnership agreement to manage, facilitate and operate the on-line business known as Jewellery Ireland. IFK Solutions is responsible for all web based requirements, operations, solutions, problems, communication and correspondence. Connect 2 is responsible for all sales & marketing communication, correspondence, requests, clarification and queries.

You will be able to access most areas of these web sites without registering your details with us. Certain areas of this website are only open to you if you register, either as a retail member or as a retailer of jewellery or accessories.

We may revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this posting. You should check these web sites from time to time to review the current terms and conditions because they are binding on you. Certain provisions of these terms and conditions may be superseded by expressly designated legal notices or terms located on particular pages of these web sites. If you do not wish to accept any new terms and conditions after we have given notice, you should not continue to use this Website.

Any returns, refunds or queries about purchases of jewellery or purchase of gift vouchers made on Jewellery Ireland must always be made direct with the designer or brand in question and all correspondence must be made direct with the vendor. In the event of unresolved disputes between the purchaser and the vendor, Jewellery Ireland offers unbiased mediation subject to agreement by both parties. Jewellery Ireland will not deal with any problems other than those relating to problems with the performance of the web site.

Please also appreciate that all jewellery advertised or displayed on this web site is handmade by individual designers in workshops and studios and is not mass produced, which is why some orders and commissions might take up to six weeks to complete – especially where hallmarking is required. Individual designers and brands are requested to indicate their order/delivery times on all items ordered or purchased through Jewellery Ireland.

Jewellery Ireland has the right to terminate any designer jewellers or jewellery brands who do not conform to the retailer rules and regulations in respect of codes of conduct relating to display of goods, description of goods, retail pricing, discounts, stock availability, order and delivery procedures, delivery costs, insurance on deliveries, payments received, refunds and return of goods, and general terms & conditions of on-line trading. Jewellery Ireland accepts no responsibility or liability in any/all matters outlined in these terms & conditions.

2. Licence

2.1 You are permitted to print and download extracts from this website for your own use on the following basis:
(a) no documents or related graphics on these websites are modified in any way;
(b) no graphics on these web sites are used separately from accompanying text; and
(c) any of our copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.
2.2 Unless otherwise stated, the copyright and other intellectual property rights in all material on these websites (including without limitation photographs and graphical images) are owned by us or our licensors. 3.1 Whilst Jewellery Ireland strives to ensure that these web sites are available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason it is unavailable at any time or for any period.
3.2 Access to this website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

4. Visitor Material & Conduct

4.1 Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Privacy Policy any material you transmit or post to this website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will have no obligations with respect to such material. We and our nominees will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate and otherwise use such material and all data, images, sounds, text and other things embodied therein for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes. All information of a sensitive nature or for which security is required will be encrypted.

9.2 We do not warrant that materials/items for sale on the website are appropriate or available for use outside of our main jurisdiction, namely the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. It is prohibited to access the website from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful. If you access this website from locations outside the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland, you do so at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

All information relating to payment is handled, managed and accessed by PayPal on behalf of the individual vendor (designer or jewellery company). Jewellery Ireland accepts no rsponsibity for information that you provide to PayPal or third parties as a result of orders or purchases.
We may also collect information about your usage of our website as well as information about you from messages you post to the web sites and e-mails or letters you send to us.
To maintain customer service standards and to assist staff training, we may record and monitor incoming calls.

11.2 Use of you information
Your information will enable us to provide you with access to all parts of our web sites and to supply the goods or services you have requested. We will also use and analyse the information we collect so that we can administer, support, improve and develop business with our designers and jewellery brands and companies.
In particular, we may use your information to contact you for your views on products, pricing and services and to notify you occasionally about important changes or developments to the website or our services. Further, where you have consented, we might also use your information to let you know by email about other products and services which are displayed and offered by our retailers which may be of interest to you. If you change your mind about being contacted in the future, please let us know.

The information you provide to us may be accessed by or given to third parties some of whom may be located outside the European Economic Area who act for us for the purposes set out in this policy or for other purposes approved by you. Those parties may process information, fulfil and deliver orders, process credit card payments and provide support services on behalf of our retailers. We may also pass aggregate information on the usage of our website to third parties but this will not include information that can be used to personally identify you. Where you have consented when providing us with your details, we may also allow other companies in our group, to contact you occasionally about products and services which may be of interest to you. We are entitled by law to charge a fee of £10 (€12) to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

17. Additional (Useful) Information

Jewellery Ireland does not actually possess any items offered for sale through these web sites. We display and market all products on behalf of the designer jewellers and brand/company jewellers and we will take a commission on each sale. As we police our retailers regularly under their terms of engagement, we take great care when describing products and that all descriptions and prices are correct and that colours are depicted as accurately as possible.
However, with all these products being handmade or made in very short runs, we cannot guarantee that this information will not change over a period of time. Please check to see that you are happy with the content.

18. Delivery

Your order is quickly and efficiently transmitted to the vendor through our website. Most jewellery pieces are available for despatch within 2 to 5 working days. However, please remember that some of the pieces will have to be individually made, just for you, and therefore delivery may take between 4 to 6 weeks. If you have entered in to correspondence directly with the particular vendor (designer/jewelller) in regard to a particular order and you are experiencing problems with delivery and you have no resolve with the vendor, after a period of 28 days from date of order you may contact Jewellery Ireland with your query or problem.

We have outlined the delivery costs as discussed, negotiated and agreed with our individual designers and jewellers on Jewellery Ireland. These charges may increase or decrease depending on current delivery rates applicable. Vendors are entitled to waive delivery charges if they so desire at any given time.

Designers can waive all or any delivery charges to any or all countries at their discretion.

Designers and/or jewellers must agree any increases in delivery charges with Jewellery Ireland before publishing and applying such increases on this web site. Current delivery rates applicable from April 2010 until further notice are as follows:

United Kingdom delivery costs (Sterling) including insurance

All items despatched within the United Kingdom are sent fully insured through Royal Mail Special Next Day Delivery. Items must be signed for on receipt. Depending on the insurance value, certain pieces may be dispatched by a nominated Courier company at an additional charge

Republic of Ireland delivery costs (Euros) including insurance

All items despatched within the Republic of Ireland are sent fully insured through An Post Registered Delivery. Items must be signed for on receipt. Depending on the insurance value, certain pieces may be dispatched by a nominated Courier company at an additional charge

International delivery costs (Euros/Sterling/US Dollars) including insurance

Jewellery Ireland designers and jewellery brands/companies can deliver anywhere in the World using Royal Mail International & An Post service. Items are fully insured up to £500 whilst in transit. Delivery times can vary depending on the country, so please allow 7 to 10 days. Any tax and duty costs payable outside of the UK are the full responsibility of the customer.

19. Packaging

All jewellery is sent by our designers direct to purchasers in fully protected and padded postal packaging. As outlined insurance is included in all delivery rates. All dispatched goods must be signed as proof of receipt of delivery.

20. Gift Vouchers from Jewellery Ireland

You may purchase gift vouchers from any one of our designer web shops. The minimum amount is £10 (Stg) or €10 (Euro) or $15 (US Dollar) and the maximum amount is £500 (Sterling) or €500 (Euro) or $700 (US Dollar). The gift vouchers are applicable to all purchases from individual designer or jewellery brand on Jewellery Ireland. When you purchase your Jewellery Ireland gift voucher it can be redeemed against any jewellery purchase on the web site within 12 months from date of purchase. Once the Gift Voucher has reached its 12 month expiry date, the recipient named on the gift voucher may apply to have the date extended for a further 12 months. There is a charge of 50% of the value of the gift voucher for this date extension procedure.

21. Terms & Conditions

  1. Jewellery Ireland gift vouchers can only be redeemed on the jewellery ireland.ie web sites as listed
  2. Gift vouchers have a claim code with a digit and letter combination
  3. Gift vouchers have no cash redemption value
  4. Gift vouchers are not transferable
  5. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase further gift vouchers
  6. Only one gift voucher can be redeemed against any individual order process.
  7. Jewellery Ireland does not refund any amount in the event that the value of the gift voucher exceeds the value of the purchase
  8. If the order exceeds the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid through PayPal.
  9. Jewellery Ireland gift vouchers have an expiry date not exceeding 12 months from date of purchase.
  10. Jewellery Ireland is not responsible if a gift voucher is used without permission or unused for any reason within the specified period of validity.

22. Exclusive 14 day Refund or Exchange Guarantee

All designer jewellers and jewellery brands represented on Jewellery Ireland have contractually agreed to an exclusive 14 day refund or exchange on all purchases regardless of value – no strings attached.

In the event that you are not satisfied with your jewellery purchase for whatever reason, providing you notify the designer jeweller or jewellery web shop direct in writing (by hard copy, fax or email) within 7 days of receipt of delivery and return the goods undamaged (in new condition) within a further 7 days from date of notification, you are entitled to an exchange or full refund. You will be required to return the goods by registered delivery so that the jeweller can track the returned goods at any time. The cost of return is the responsibility of the customer.

Damaged or spoiled goods will not be accepted under the refund or exchange program. Refunds are made in full through PayPal and are only paid when goods have been received in satisfactory condition.
