...a little more about me - Victoria Foutz

I am an Irish-Colombian designer, born in Bogotá, and I completed my education in London and Los Angeles. After graduating in Calafornia, I moved to Rome where I entered the fashion industry before moving to Ireland in 1995 where I live on Clew Bay in the West of Ireland.

My inspiration is derived from the dramatic surroundings of sea, sky and uninhabited islands. The colours, textures and the secret language of shapes and symbols are reflected in my work. My designs are connected to the purity and power of this organic environment that imbues my collections with an artisan aesthetic that I believe is both timeless and contemporary and all my own.

I design my pieces with an eye in combining fashion and individuality. My range is contemporary and classically elegant and created to compliment the modern stylish woman. In addition, my Celtic line of jewellery is based on a commission I received for the Broadway opening of Riverdance, and this special recognition makes me very proud.

I am a registered member of the Craft Council of Ireland
