...a little more about me - Fiona Fewer

I began my career as a graphic designer, qualifying from the National College of Art & Design in Ireland with a degree in Visual Communications. However for the past 4 years I've been designing and creating jewellery. Following the birth of my second child I decided to turn a life long hobby (and my real passion!) into a business and so set up Dink Design from a studio in my home.

My designs are led in many ways by fashion but what typically characterises my pieces is the use of colour. I enjoy experimenting with different and unusual colour combinations, as well as contrasting stones with distinctive patterns and textures to create bright and unique pieces.

I use a variety of high quality materials including semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls, swarovski crystals, resin, acrylic and sterling silver to create fashionable and contemporary pieces.

My designs are evolving all the time as I like to keep up with current trends. I like working with different materials and trying out new techniques, and I introduce a number of new collections each year.
